Had to be when I was in highschool and worked in a kitchen in a country club. There was a week when I didn't have shite planned so I picked up every shift there was. Think I worked open to close (12 hours) just about everyday. I remember it being surreal when I finally took a day off after that

92, 7-12s with a couple of those being 16’s back in the late 70’s, before all the OSHA. Safety garbage. I don’t think I could do that today ! Used to love the money train turn-a-rounds.

I worked for a grain merchandising company in the Midwest about 20 plus years ago and if I got home to see the 10pm news I felt lucky.
We had a small crew and I was a “working manager” meaning that I did what needed to be done. The only saving grace was that the current governor of SD would stop by and say hello. She was just working on the family farm helping out.
I think I literally worked 100 hours in a week.

I once took a week off work to do a home project. In 7 days I worked 120 hours.

70-80 hrs a week for a year... construction. Was a "field engineer" for a traveling healthcare builder. That basically meant i was the super's bitch.

When they told me I could get off a half day on thanksgiving I started looking for another job. The job paid well though.... made 60k right out of school in 2003. LSU Construction management.

Was completely burned out.

About 110, but it was a summer job right after I graduated college before starting grad school, and the job was with EA Sports playing Madden, so it wasn't that bad.

When my boss took out the covid loan we were working mandatory overtime with no restrictions on how many hours. Work as many as you can handle he said. I logged 84 hours first week and 81 second week. One he'll of a two week pay check. Liked to have killed me but I looked at it as a blessing.

When I was installing wind turbines with GE a routine week was 65-70 hours a week (M-Sun). I think the most I did during commissioning was right around 80 (12 M-Sat and 8 Sun).

We got paid weekly and had ~$150 a day per diem

206.5 hours on a two week pay period. That’s some long days.
