When I was first out of B school and low man I would work 84-90 hours a week in Q1. Went on for two years, nothing worse than walking out of work with birds singing in the morning. I would go home shower and head back. Hell, several nights a week I would sleep in the office.

If you want to include travel time as work it would be more hours than that when I was doing a lot of international work. Hell, one week I spent almost 80 hours in a plane. US to India round trip then US to Germany round trip. I barely got off the plane in Iowa when I had to turm arounf to Germany. My son had a baseball game so I came back from Germany the same week.

It went Saturday night (central) to Bangalore - 21 hours
Back to US arriving Tuesday - 22 hours

Wednesday to Germany 15 hours
Friday Germany to US 15 hours

Add in work and that week was misery. I didn't even know what day it was. I was a lot younger then though, now I would quit before I went through that.

I did 109 one week while we were moving equipment into our current location. Did right near 100 the next week. Was brutal.

356 in a month. Weeks were 7 days, so around 90/week. It was during a stretch where I averaged 15 hours per day for 84 straight days. That was about 10 years ago. I couldn't do that now.

75 hours. Split 7-5 in the office, go home, put the kid to bed. Go to sleep at 9. Wake up at 11. Then 12 AM to 5 AM on site. Thankfully I live near Disney so when I left the site, I could pop back home and catch a 30 minute nap before heading back to the office. But that was for the entire month of November.

70 when I was doing construction in college during summer break. We worked 7 10s and I didn’t have time to spend my money but I also didn’t have to work for a full year of school

14 hours a day for 62 days straight. Worked for a company called Fairfield and we were running seismic probes and shooting 20-30 pound charges every 1/4 mile to 3/8 mile. First 20 days we were based in Sulphuric and ran lines from from inter coastal our 8 miles into GOM. Ran 2 lines North South and shot suspended charges in Gulf. Was cool.

Spent 42 days in Morgan City with Holiday Inn as base camp. Ran lines in Atchafalaya basin. Pair of high tops and shorts most of the day. Air boats, mud buggies, and skiffs. Great experience.

Love me some Louisiana.
