What are your thoughts OT? What are the most helpful professional certifications you got which made you more proficient at your job? PMP, SCRUM Master, Sigma Six? There are a bunch out there, are they worth it?

Which is the one where they give you truck nuts when you pass the exam?

Every single job listing in my field wants SCRUM and most would like PMP as a bonus.
Depends on the field. I’m in software so SCRUM is the most important secondary cert.
If I were in business, I’d imagine PMP would be pinnacle.

If you have one of those meaningless, office, feel good jobs, like hr or something, the execs jerk off on your resume if you have your lean-six sigma black belt.

JD
I always thought JD was used by someone who graduated law school but hadn't passed the bar. Once they pass the bar they use "Attorney at Law".

Agile/Scrum
PMP is old school and outdated
...and yes, there will be a new one in a few years. But for today, Agile is the way to go.
