Anyone know of a good way to get more proficent in "Finance for mgrs/mgmt"? Employee budgeting, etc.
Something to start moving towards properly running a company at the CEO level.

I honestly don’t know what any of these acronyms are. Also I always thought six sigma seemed like the biggest scam ever. Some dude put a bunch of HR powerpoints together and is making millions of stupid corporations.

FWIW our exam has a lower pass rate than the bar
I love shite like this.
We spend three years in law school plus a solid three months studying for the Bar 8-5 like it’s our fricking job because we legally aren’t allowed to do our jobs until we pass said exam. The fact that we pass it at a higher rate than people looking for extra certifications to boost their resume isn’t in the least bit indicative of the comparative difficulties of the process

They do, in droves.
Then again, I had a ton of student loan debt coming due, so it was pass or perish for me

I agree. it's common sense mgmt stuff. It was for older white men to learn how to manage on a more diverse level.

This is either extremely useful or overrated depending on the industry of said engineer.
Working in the Construction industry, its vital for career success and usually to land the job. Mostly for civil engineers. Some EE have it if their working alongside civil engineers with power distribution/utilities.
Getting the EIT is probably the most useful. Passing the FE exam is needed for some jobs.
