rower, stair stepper, spin bike...can't go wrong with any of them...if rower, definitely save up for the C2

Just make sure you change the incline every few minutes. If you don't, it can cause a little pot belly. Read that in a Men's Health article.
Wtf

Rowing machine. Or if you hate yourself, an assault bike.

They sneak up on you in a hurry.
You look at it and think "oh it's just a bike. Not a problem." 20 calories in and I'm already exhausted.

Elliptical machine has been proven to provide the most effective cardio workout.

Agree. I'd like to hear about that.

People think pure running leads to a change in metabolism/hormones that leads to a tendancy of belly fat. I'm assuming the article is saying lift your incline to get into anew anabolic zone which may alter this??? You could just run harder.

Seriously?
Dang, your body really does fight to stay fat.

I put in 115 calories on one today and felt like I got jumped in a dark alley by kimbo slice

I don't know if it's true at all, I've just read it.

Well, this particular article says to start at 4 mph for 5 or 10 mins, then increase mph by .2 mph every 2 mins while also changing incline and finishing at 6 mph on maximum incline. It was basically saying that running on flat ground at constant speed would isolate your lower abs and build those muscles giving the appearance of a pot belly. Didn't really feel like typing all of that before, but hope that clears it up.

There is some truth to it, I think.
A lot of long term runners still have belly fat.

Wife and I bought this about a year ago. It's fricking brutal. Like dragging a refrigerator across a parking lot, then suddenly sprinting with it for a while then slowing down again...over and over for 15 minutes or so.

Sorry but this is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. By this logic doing any types of ab exercises would lead to a pot belly.

I have always read that they are one of the least effective cardio machines.
