All I'll say is that I'll fight a Starkey Academy grad.

Broadmoor...frick them. I hope that Tara logo is still burned into your football practice field.
Tara/Broadmoor rival weeks were of epic proportions in the late 70's early 80's. No Sonic needed...we had our Burger Kings and little Miller ponies. And paint filled eggs...man, those things would do some damage.
Also, Tara High is shite now. I've seen the videos...what a downfall.

I can vouch for this as well as the other thing they're known for. My gf is an alumna.

This mostly stems from my baseball days in the same district as EHS and Dunham. Dunham was by far the worst though. Not only were the players douches but the fans were too.

Parkview people are the fricking worst. White trash that think they're not white trash because they're holy rollers that think they're better than people. Baptists are miserable human beings.
Pretty much

The Parkview clowns always thought their families were balling because they lived in $300k house in Prairieville and their dads bought Suburbans for their moms on 72 month notes. But then mom would have to hustle Scentsy on the side to afford her monthly Botox. Also, a few years ago one of the moms was trading sex for drugs with her daughter’s boyfriend. Mildly trashy.

still hold a little bit of shade to parkview.
I went to patterson and they were a thorn in our side for athletics. literally every year I was there one of our teams lost to them in the playoffs.
ahh the good old days
ALso for turning this shite into some big deal

Expand on Parkview persona. Know some folks sending their kids there and they seem like good people. I just never quite understood how they charge 8-10k/year for the academic quality. I've always understood that it's a notch below Catholic schools academically, rather being more of a sports school. Do I have a good understanding?

i guess. its a good athletics school thats about all i could tell you about the place. that and some of the people there are huge jackasses. there are some good people too though. ran against a kid from there in our regional and state track meets who was a good dude. ended up talking to him and his family for a while

I use to hate Bishop Sullivan when I was in HS. I went to Plaquemine high, it was ghetto & country.. When I was in school we had really good basketball teams, I remember playing Bishop Sullivan in a playoff game. They came to us. They bought a pretty nice size crowd. They started cheering and getting into the game. Our crowd got all ghetto and their crowd shut up, sat down and watched the game with a look of fear...
There were a group of girls who passed where me and my friends were and one of my friends yelled out "can I get your number?" and she looked at him and went "ewwww! No.. And took off running". We laughed at him, but in football and baseball, they were just arrogant pricks.

Damn, PBS is getting raped in this thread
But wasn’t those basketball recruits they had in the late 90’s the first black kids to go there? Back when they were really good at basketball
