Parkview people are the fricking worst. White trash that think they're not white trash because they're holy rollers that think they're better than people.
Baptists are miserable human beings.

Good school systems don't need magnet schools to prop up their scores.
When was the last time anyone ever tried to argue Baton Rouge's was a "good school system"?

Baton Rouge High Schools

Since Dutchtown High would not exist if not for EBR's shitty schools, it's a valid comment.

Obviously you don't recall the vocal Better Together/One Community One School System Crowd during the St. George debate, or as I like to call them the Maniacal Magnet Moms.

In defense of Catholic High. Judging Catholic based upon Mascona is like judging LSU based upon those kids in the student section that paint themselves for every football game.

Parkview seems to have some really serious drug problems. Much more serious than Episcopal or Catholic.
How does Dunham get away with charging super high tuition?
I don't think any school has a student body that is all that dislikable. I do think the '02 Episcopal class had a bunch of pricks, but '03 and '00 didn't. I knew a bunch of Parkview and Catholic guys, as well as BRHS guys although oddly almost no one from UHigh or Dunham.
I think the schools had different characteristics, but it was also very delineated by year.
'00 was very bookish at EHS, '01 seemed to just have a lot of guys who wanted to party, '02 was a mix of more religious kids, some really smart kids, and the aforementioned pricks, '03 was pretty generic but I think generally more well-behaved than the previous years, '04 had more southern/country kids, and that's about all I've got. So I imagine every school had different classes by year, especially for the schools that were even smaller.

Ditto that classes are very different from one another in a given year. Disliking a school would basically mean a dislike for a socioeconomic faction within the EBR area because the actual kids / class culture making up each class changes pretty dramatically each year.

Can you expound? Does this mean a lot of the kids smoke pot? Prescription drugs? One kid did heroin? Suburban moms growing in the greenhouse? Football team on 'roids?
What kind of drug problems?

Just listen how he talks about catholic on air and you’ll see.
BTW: my sister and I went to Redemptorist at the height of the RHS-Parkview Wars.
So F parkview.
Oh, what was up with the SJA girls? For an all girl school, you would expect them to wear makeup or dress like they give a F.

OxyContin, other pills, and some heroin. I know a couple of Episcopal alums died from heroin and/or intentionally overdosed but that was a very isolated group from my experience.
My Parkview friend is a few years younger and I’ve been surprised at the prevalence. However I’ve also been surprised at the prevalence of heavy downer usage in SEC Greek systems over the past 5 or so years. I think that was rare before 2010.

Dunham was so much nerdier and "holy roller" than Episcopal. I had several friends who went there, but only after leaving Episcopal. They joke all the time about how many religious goobers went there with them.
Academic casualties from Episcopal transferred to Dunham.
