In defense of Catholic High. Judging Catholic based upon Mascona is like judging LSU based upon those kids in the student section that paint themselves for every football game.
Yeah, some of my best friends went to Catholic. A couple of them absolutely hated it, and the third one still hangs out with some of his classmates. That's a little dorky, yeah, but every one of his friends I've met seems pretty decent.

Redemptorist, Parkview, Broadmore and Woodlawn loved to fight at parties.
Remove Parkview from this and add Tara.

How does Dunham get away with charging super high tuition?
I'm not sure. There is a clear difference in academics between Episcopal and Dunham. As another poster said, Dunham takes a lot of academic casualties from Episcopal. As far as private schools, Parkview by far has the worst academics. Yes, even worse than Christian Life or whatever that school is called now.
Surprised no one mentioned Runnels. That school is full of weirdos.

As a graduate of BRMHS, I know some people thought we were pretentious. But it isn't bragging when your superiority is real and obvious.

Coach Dupe and his Cross Country
That guy and his runners are tops for biggest douchebags you'll ever meet at a cross country or track meet in the Baton Rouge area.
And Pete Boudreaux was a better coach and still is a MUCH better person than Dupe.

I use to hate Bishop Sullivan when I was in HS. I went to Plaquemine high, it was ghetto & country.. When I was in school we had really good basketball teams, I remember playing Bishop Sullivan in a playoff game. They came to us. They bought a pretty nice size crowd. They started cheering and getting into the game. Our crowd got all ghetto and their crowd shut up, sat down and watched the game with a look of fear...
There were a group of girls who passed where me and my friends were and one of my friends yelled out "can I get your number?" and she looked at him and went "ewwww! No.. And took off running". We laughed at him, but in football and baseball, they were just arrogant pricks.
Great input

I went to Woodlawn you presumptious frick. That said, growing up around Cross country and track well before I got to HS, and then experiencing both coaches for 4 years at plenty CC and Track meets, I speak the truth.
Boudreaux would often offer advice and tips to kids/coaches from all schools whether it was a Sunday training at Highland Road(Several schools always around the park) or the middle of a competitive invitational. He was also incredibly humble and sincere in congratulations of all the athletes.
Dupe was an arrogant DICK and literally told my neighborhood friend to stay away from "us"(not just me but our entire team) when he saw us shooting the shite between events. Who the frick does that?
Now take it back.
