I was actually thinking about editing my post because, on the whole, I like your posts but they can just be extremely long winded.
But after this seditious, slanderous, and hurtful reply you can go have sex with the flat end I a ping pong paddle.
I know you can lost what you want, but it would have been so much easier to say this:
“I got one of those remote control hover crafts that looked awesome on tv. It was way more slow than he commercial said and it couldn’t jump puddles for shite”
There, no dramatic build up, no harrowing tale of your childhood, just straight and too the point. It’s really not hard
ETA and no I don’t have a problem with his uncle putting it together. It’s great to have a positive male role model in your life

Torpedo Run? Some of you people have no imagination. I’d play it today if I still had the ammo.
Mine is this: Army Gear toys. They were Army stuff that transformed into playsets with mini figures (the canteen into an aircraft carrier, the M-16 was a base). They were good at neither. I remember the M-16 breaking almost immediately.

Because you asked nicely, and because through my years of lurking I don’t think OweO is a bad dude

The problem in my case was probably that it was too goddamn big and required a hard surface to play on.
There was only one surface hard and flat enough to play on, which was the dining room floor, because the living room was carpeted.
When it takes forever and you are having to chase down discs which have caromed off under a cabinet, the interest in it wanes.
Still not as horribly broken as the Pokemon board game my sister bought once.
We played it for a few hours to kill time one night and figured out that it was near impossible to win, to the point where we tried to create the conditions to win and still couldn’t do it. No wonder it was only $1 at Kay Bee.

Did anyone have the GI Joe Aircraft Carrier?
I did but the week after I got it my little brother jumped all over the deck and destroyed it. I'm still kind of pissed about it.
