Most disappointing toy/game compared to commercial?

Growing up, I'm sure there were many times for you during Saturday morning cartoons, or afternoon episodes of GUTS (Let's go to Mo for the official times!) When you saw a commercial for some product that blew your still developing mind. Then, after weeks or months of pleading with mom or dad, they finally break down and buy you the god-forsaken thing. Then, you play it or play with it one time, realize it blows and it sits on the closet collecting dust until your mom gets sick of looking at it and sells it at the next yard sale.
Which toy or game had the greatest disparity between the awesomeness of the commercial and the shittiness of the actual product?

I think it was called the hovercraft.. It was a remote control hovercraft and on the commercial that think would fly (go fast), it would go over water without missing a beat. All I could think about what one day after it rained and taking that bad boy out and going over water puddles like it was nobody's business.
Christmas comes around and I get it. It didn't go nearly as fast as it did on TV and the second time I went over a water puddle, the bottom of it, the rubber part that lifted it up, tore. Piece of shite..

Being a dumb fricking kid, I broke one of the parts of the contraption almost immediately, and would have to manually place the ball on the next part halfway through. It really killed the magic of the whole experience.

Did anyone have the GI Joe Aircraft Carrier?
That was something I asked for for like 3 Christmas' in a row and I never got it. I hope it was worse than I was expecting it to be, because I didn't get one.

Crossfire has been said, so I will have to go with Torpedo Run.
You would think a version of Battleship where you shoot at the other ships instead of calling out numbers would be fun. You would be wrong.
Combine that with it being a beast of a game and I think I only ever played it once.

I had one and it was awesome. Of course it took my poor uncle 4 hours to put it together on Christmas Day.
