I had a brown nosing prick in my office. Whenever projects were assigned (typically, ones that no one wanted)he would say, "I'll champion that one".

I hated that mofo.

Reading this thread I feel like I just got out of a one-on-one with my boss.

Price point

Is that different from price?

Price point

Is that different from price? Is there any sentence using the phrase "price point" that would not work as well just by saying price?

Company I'm at refers to the black employees as Dans.

Dan is an acronym. You figure out what it stands for

It's probably been said, and may no longer be the case, but back when I was wasting my life working in an office, it was "proactive."

Honorable mention goes to "action items, deliverables" as well as "milestones."

"Get off Tigerdroppings and work"

Man if I had a dollar for every time I've heard that, I wouldn't need the work.

I'm late, but I'll add:

”Lipstick on a Pig” - "I know it's a pig; you know it's a pig. Our customers know it's a pig. Don't bother with the lipstick."

“Is this one on your radar?” - "Uh, no, Captain Spock, but I'll switch command centers and see if I can pick it up.

“Value Add” - "Phew, what a relief -- I thought everything we did was to take away value!"

“All Hands on Deck” - Everybody dives into the latest disaster, even when they have nothing to contribute. Slows down the people who know what they're doing. Guarantees that everything else will be a mess when today's problem is finally fixed. Also an excuse for your boss to make you work nights and weekends."
