5 minutes out of it and you’re outside of Lafayette proper

They have the department of HUD, which is housing for "urban" development.
There is not one for Asian development, Indian development or even white development.
But it was started under Obama to break up the high crime rates and push them into suburban America, In the hopes that the young men of color could escape those high crime enviroments and make something of themselves. But in reality, they just expanded their criminal empire.
