More children have been shot in Chicago (280) this year than have died due to COVID in USA

And that is just in Chicago. We have seen a disturbing number of reports and articles about children being shot and killed in cities all around the country. It really is a sad state we have found ourselves in.

Op you realize shot does not equal died right? I understand where you are going, but its an absolutely poor comparison and worthy of a Cnn type report.
It should be either more kids were shot than got hospitalized by Covid, or more kids were shot dead than died of Covid. But neither of those are true...
ETA: now the article does say more kids have been shot and killed in Chicago (35) than have died of (with) Covid in Illinois (15). That's worth discussing.

Lulz. A single child getting shot is a more serious situation than 10 children being briefly hospitalized with a respiratory infection.

Another moronic false equivalency. Their definition of children is 17 and under, so how many of those shot were gang bangers? The garbage article doesn't tell us. Also, there are about 2000 kids in the hospital with covid right now, how many kids that have been shot are in the hospital right now?
