First and foremost, a tax cheat is no different than those that suck the government dry by abusing benefits - they're both essentially stealing from me.
This comparison is so very flawed.
Welfare leeches have done nothing to earn the money they receive from the government.
The government does nothing to earn the money they leech from taxpayers.
Yet you think that individuals who do not report cash earnings from side jobs are "just as bad" as the welfare cases?
They aren't stealing shite from you because you've done jackshit to be entitled to their earnings. The government is stealing from you, welfare cases are stealing ftom you, fellow citizens trying to make ends meet working a second cash job ARE NOT stealing from you because under no circumstances is that money ever going to make its way to you- unless you are also on welfare or a government employee- both cases in which YOU would be stealing from me and every other chump who goes to work in the private sector to keep your grubby paws filled with our money.

I'm not buying the story.

Obviously this woman spent too much time in air conditioning in Monroe.

You can frame it however you'd like, but economists estimate the underground cash economy would provide income taxes of nearly 30% of current income tax receipts. They are most certainly indirectly stealing from me because the current system has to make up for those losses. They don't pay their taxes, so I pay more to make up for it. It really isn't that complicated.

A large deposit of cash? Who does this in 2016? If she had her shite stolen, that is fricked up, but I don't have a ton of sympathy for people that do this in this day and age when the majority of it is from illegal and likely untaxed proceeds in the first place.
You don't have sympathy for her getting her money stolen by the police because some people that deal in cash are tax cheats?

Poster going wacko over a $300 cash deposit from a tennis teacher.
Doesn't care that she was robbed of all her rights as an American and jailed for 30 hours because she crossed a street going from one parking lot to the next.

She's going to have a lot more cash once the lawyers get involved.

You are a complete idiot and need your balls removed so you cannot reproduce.
People who "launder money" as you say, don't deposit it in the bank. Nearly every business in the United States carry large sums of cash to the bank for deposit everyday.
Plus, if you ever bought something or sold something on Ebay or anywhere on line and did not report it for the sales tax or income tax, you are a fricking cheat.
Hell, if you ever had a garage sale and didn't report the income, you are a fricking cheat.

This is the attitude of most PO that I have come in contact with.

That is entirely too much detail to be believable. Especially coming from a woman.

I'm not sure how it's so difficult to understand that my sympathy is diminished, but in no way is it non existent. People are acting like I said "good for her, she deserved it." That's ridiculous, I don't believe that whatsoever.
What happened to her sucks and no one deserves that, but oh, by the way, tax cheats drive me nuts.

So I got lost in the middle of the wall of text, did she in fact have a traffic warrant for the unpaid ticket? And an illegal turn can be anything, pretty sure we all do one illegal turn a day without realizing it.
You know when the ot gets up in arms over not having all the facts when the police shoot someone? Well let's wait to see what all the facts are on this one, this is one side of the story.

I know. There are different degrees of severity, but I despise it all. Obviously it isn't a big deal to much of this board, but it is to me.

bro... you have went off the rails in this thread just because of the phrase "large cash deposit"
a couple of months of insurance could be $400

Makes sense.
Also, fwiw, everyone cheats on their taxes.

Off the rails is probably a good way to put it.
Didn't really intend to take the thread in this direction, but here we are.
