Taxpayers?

It is perfectly plausible for the Monroe PD to be a frick up AND the woman in question to be a tax cheat.

I'm a taxpayer and I don't give a shite if someone pockets the cash THEY earned teaching tennis lessons to kids on the side.

Your insinuation that this woman deserved to be shaken down because she was carrying cash is disgusting and pathetic.

Then the Monroe PD can alert the IRS to investigate. Not steal the cash because they feel like it.

On what planet did I insinuate any of this? I said if she got her shite stolen that is fricked up. She didn't deserve any of it if her story is accurate.

I'm pointing out that carrying large sums of cash in 2016 is very often the result of criminal activity or a tax cheat. I despise both.

Yeah sure. ManBearTiger is trying to paint this as some pro-cop agenda when it is nothing of the sort.

A large deposit of cash? Who does this in 2016? If she had her shite stolen, that is fricked up, but I don't have a ton of sympathy for people that do this in this day and age when the majority of it is from illegal and likely untaxed proceeds in the first place.

Seriously? Sorry you're poor.

But really, there are many, many businesses that turn over large amounts of cash, and that most of their business is done in cash. That cash has to be deposited. Nothing to do with it otherwise.

I mainly browse the PT board on this site, and I've seen some twisted, retarded shite said on that forum, buy the notion that a soccer mom with a small cash business-tennis lessons- deserves to be mugged and kidnapped for POTENTIALLY evading taxes is downright nauseating.

She's not making deposits for a business into a business account, she's making a deposit for her personal use in cash.

I'm not sure why it is so outlandish to suggest that most self employed folks who deal with a ton of cash are cheating the frick out of the tax system. None of that means they should be illegally detained or robbed by the police department.

Believe what you want. Never once suggested or even hinted that she deserved any of it.

I stated that doing so in 2016 is usually for illicit purposes and I don't have a ton of sympathy for people who cheat the system. Doesn't mean she deserved it.

What you're doing is talking directly out of your arse. I'm sure she would be sharing this story with the whole world if she was the second coming of Capone you're slandering her as POSSIBLY being, despite having absolutely no basis for that theory other than your own idiotic view on how people should handle their own funds.

You don't have sympathy for her being robbed, but simultaneously recognize it is unjust.

Either you don't know what you're talking about or that is a textbook Antisocial Disorder inability to empathize.

Let me make this as clear as possible for you - no one deserves to have their shite stolen. The police seem to have fricked up royally. There is a good chance these particular funds - a "large deposit" by her own admission - is income that is not reported or underreported on her income taxes. I despise tax cheats, and if she is a tax cheat, then I don't have much sympathy for her, even though she doesn't deserve to be robbed. The end.

It sounds like she was driving erratically which got the attention of the black suburban and led to her being pulled over. If she was being arrested it sounds like she wouldn't shut up and started acting like a fool and then continued all the way to the jail house.

Once your arrested you are no longer on your time and must deal in the realm of government time which is slow and usually misinformed. The best thing she could have done is apologize and head into the station. If you're in the clear eventually it will work itself out and then you can file a complaint and sue their asses off if need be.
