Yeah, it isn't an epidemic within the whites because of the much larger population. You look at per capita its definitely an epidemic within the black population, but there are areas where the whites are just as bad.

I've seen some places (trailer park in rural area or trailers in the middle of nowhere) that were worse than any conditions I ever seen. Long story short, in college I worked for local government and it was decided there there was going to be a clean up the parish campaign. There were places that was likely to have a lot of drug activity that were inhabitable and to get anything done, it involved a whole process. A lot of pictures of these places had to be taken and the environment that meth addicts create is absolutely sad.

Any kids who grow up in that environment have no chance. But that's the same with many of these kids in the hood. Kids who come from these environments, I wonder if there is a certain age they get to that there is no way of them changing their life around?

Yes! In general the kids who grew up in the 80s-90s were already on a bad path, unless they were raised by grandparents.

Some people need church and a fear of God, and a little pressure to not have babies when unmarried. Whether they believe in God or not, being immersed in church culture seems beneficial and used to be a huge part of the culture. They shoot themselves in the foot voting for a party that doesn’t understand that and always tries to remove religion from everything.

I gotta say the OT does a pretty good job of replicating this text conversation style when it wants to.

Is there an ebonics autocorrect? Bc it would take me all day to type one text out if I had to constantly overwrite the autocorrect to sound more ghetto
