Cancer sucks, especially childhood cancer.
Very poignant photo. Bless all that endures cancer and bless the families involved.

I'd quote some things from the article, but I think this picture says it all.

Can't think of a thing that scares me more than my kids getting sick like this. I'd rather cut my own heart out with a spoon.

It's so sad. People cry about sporting events and material things in life. They have no idea until they have a 2 year old w/ Leukemia. You would give up EVERYTHING not to see your child suffer. You prepare for the worst and thank GOD when your child survives. It really changes your perspective on life, you enjoy every day you have. Things like sports, and material items, really mean nothing. God Bless that kid !

As terrible as childhood cancer is 4 in 5 survive, which has been a huge improvement.

St. Jude is the only organization I donate to.

It's just not fair. What did a 4 year old deserve to have cancer? What did those families do to deserve having a young child with cancer?

Thanks for helping me keep things in perspective. Momento mori

When my dad was going to M.D. Anderson for the first time, we got off on the wrong floor. Staring us in the face was over 100 children waiting in the pediatric cancer waiting room with their parents. I've never figured out what was the hardest thing about seeing what we saw, the sick children or their despondent parents.

That is a heart breaking photo. I freaking hate cancer. I hate that innocent children have to get sick.

Children with cancer is one of the saddest things imaginable.
