She does look tiny, but the CDC recommends 24-32 oz of water per hour in hot environments. She only drank double that

Water toxicity is basically water diluting the sodium in the blood, so if she already had low sodium then this could have been the issue.

Yep. If she was out on the lake sweating all day in the heat and hadn't replenished her electrolytes (Gatorade, salty snacks etc) that could do it.

Someone said they drank 4 beers that quickly, not the same bc beer isn't straight water.

This is horrible. I know someone who got water drunk. He had a seizure and had to go to the hospital.

don’t like flavored water when I’m playing in the heat bc it upsets my stomach.

A post match burger and fries always settles my tummy nicely too in time to drop a steamy greasy deuce in the downstairs powder room as I get home after a tough day on the rubico.

Sad but I’m calling bullshite. No way in hell 64 oz does that. Hell I’ve drank that much in two minutes before.

bullshite I'd be dead 20 years ago if that's all it took.

I learned about this as a young man in the late 70s when I began drinking water to quell my appetite to drop a few pounds. I remember drinking a fair amount fairly quickly and got seriously lightheaded. I told someone about it and they had heard of that before and I then read about it somewhere. It’s a real thing.

There’s no way 4 bottles of water was too much water no matter how fast you drink it.

Unless you’re electrolytes were abnormally low to start with.

The urge to drink water IIRC is called hydrodipsomania.

Wasn’t there a story about a radio morning shock jock having a radio contest where DJ was giving away prizes to contestants that could drink the most water in a minute? One of the girls died of the same cause in the OP.

IIRC it was a California radio station that did a contest with a bunch of people that had to drink a certain amount of water during time intervals. The last one to not have to piss won a Wii. Something like Don't wee for a Wii.

I drink 124 ozs minimum, every day, and while I was recently told that my sodium and potassium was low and to start taking supplements ... to the best of my knowledge I've never been close to dying from it. I just like to drink a lot of water. It's good for you. Keep my skin supple. Chicks dig it.

I dunno, seems sketchy to me.

Another victim of the jab.

Especially now that they're claiming Bruce Lee, et al., died from the same thing. They're working to hard to cover it up.

Hell, I once drank 64 Bud Ice in as many seconds.

I can also throw a football over those damn mountains.

Facts.
