Kicked out of a bar before 10pm for being too drunk. I was gonna call him a lightweight then I read he was between 6'-5" and 6'-7" and 160lbs. That's featherweight.

This will not end well.

I tell my kids to ALWAYS be with people you trust and will have your back when you are out. I have seen it done too many times where "friends" leave someone behind to be on his/her own in a bad state of insobriety. I also try to preach to not get into that state, but we all know that's not going to happen. Be smart; be safe! It's imperative.

I don’t drink so maybe I’m a clueless square, but I just do not understand how people choose to get completely blitzed surrounded by nobody they know.

Scary stuff, not going to end well.

I did so many dumb drunken things at his age and luckily got away with all of them.

Watching the videos, this easily could have been me at his age.

I’ve been kicked out of a bar, but never kicked in one. Also, bars don’t care about open tabs anymore. They’ve either already run your card and add to it, or hold the actual card.

Normally, none of those places care. You open a tab they will just charge 20+ percent on all closed tabs at the end of the night.

Never really thought about it. But when they do this, is the 20% tip? Or does the full 20% go to the bar and the bartenders get screwed out of the tip?

I’ve also never considered this, I may never spend 10 minutes trying to get a busy bartenders attention at closing time again

It’s a tip. They almost always have a sign that says the % and it’s almost always 20%. I’ve seen 25% a few places. Honestly when I’m drinking and having fun at places like that I tip at least 20% anyway every time, often more. So I never bother with the crowd and busy bartender to even close it. Been doing this a long long time and never been screwed over.

Reddit link that sums up what people know and has tried to consolidate the various videos/sightings for people to keep up with details and possibly help with the search.

This reddit thread links 4 urls of stories about gangs/groups preying on Nashville tourists by drugging and robbing them (but not killing, so doubt it's the case with Riley). That was new to me, but it seems it's been a recent problem.

In the past 30 years there has been dozens of young adults getting drunk in a downtown area and end up drowning in a nearby body of water. You can even see the river in a couple of those surveillance videos.

Damn. I've been "asked to leave" so many bars. Could've been me.

Yeah, that's my best guess as well, but I would have expected the body to have been found by now.

This happened to my friend one time, he was just hungover and didnt answer his phone for a few days.

After seeing some of the reddit videos of him walking, hes prob dead. The dude was really fricked up and was all over the place trying to walk.

I don't think it generally starts that way. The blitzing starts together. Once the blackout stage hits, people wander off, etc.
