True but it wasn't a gang related shootout or a social media beef.
That's why he said "its the white people equivalent"....

Updated OP with more info. Apparently his home had been foreclosed on and sold at an auction.

Out of all medical professionals, don’t dentists have the highest rate of suicide?
We recently switched dentists because our prior dentist stopped accepting our insurance.
New dentist is fairly young and just starting out. His family is wealthy and he said he had no student debt plus patents gave him $$$ to start a practice.
He said there is a ton of financial pressure on dentists due to the big chains driving down wages and being squeezed by dental insurance.

It’s anomic suicide. It’s not unusual, particularly in men with a family who were once financially successful. It’s easy to judge if your emotional and mental state has never been so poor that you believe death is the best option.
It definitely has an impact, though. Parental suicide makes children more likely to die by suicide themselves and increases their risk of developing a range of major psychiatric disorders.

What was his profession? Was he a fulltime tiktoker?

I feel sorry for people with this outlook. What do you put your faith in, or are you incapable of faith?

I’ve never subscribed to the statements that say a person is selfish for committing suicide. If someone is in so much mental turmoil that they go through with it, they are obviously not thinking rationally and in their heads they really believe they are just a burden to their family.
Very sad situation

In Mississippi, I guess you can get a dentistry license with a high school diploma?

Reportedly raised by extremely Moudy folks.

There is no problem too big to overcome. It’s heartbreaking that a husband/father thought this was the only solution. Hope the best for his family.

Kaytlin, Maddox "Max" and Charleigh
Oof
C'mon, man.
I have a great-niece named Charleigh. I did roll my eyes a bit when I heard it but there is an actual reasoning behind it for my niece. My sister's name is Charlene but we have called her Charlie her whole life and everyone does. My niece's middle name is Leigh after Vivian Leigh because my sister was a big fan of "Gone with the Wind" so she decided to combine those. I still kinda roll my eyes though.
Maddox is a fairly common name now, it seems IO know 3 or 4 of them.
