Why don't the city council members go patrol the streets after their meetings?

Shouldn't be anything more than just a walk in the park with no confrontation.

And they will be killed. And the left will just ignore it like they ignore inner city gun violence.

Violence interruptor is correctly named. They will interrupt the violence by having violence used against them, then back to your schedule violence.

Note they are not called violence stoppers.

In June, the council voted unanimously to dismantle the police department in favor of a "Department of Community Safety."

So they've diverted $1MM from the PD to fund "violence interpreters" who will suss out the "issues" before guns are introduced and become a crime?

Yet folks are still asking "Where are the Police?"

You see we just haven't tried true defunding of the police yet. It will work the next time.

Let's look at a quick timeline:

1. George Floyd dies, riots ensue, police are told to "back off."
2. Minneapolis Council votes to defund its police department.
3. Older officers, with enough years of service, say to themselves "frick this," retire and leave the force in much higher than normal numbers.
4. The Council then has the nerve and gall to ask "where's the police?" Where do you think, dumbass? They're home collecting their hard earned retirement, while you stew in the pot of shite you cooked up.

I think to myself, these people cannot be this fricking stupid. Then I remind myself, sure they can. They are.

True defunding of the police just hasn't been tried before. It will work next time.

This crap makes me laugh.

They want them to police but when they police, they don’t want it.

Can’t stop crime without being tough on criminals
