Minneapolis City Council Asks 'Where Are The Police' After Voting to Dismantle Them

Minneapolis City Council members, who recently voted to defund the police department, demanded answers from the city’s police chief for the recent uptick in crime.

In June, the council voted unanimously to dismantle the police department in favor of a "Department of Community Safety." That plan was delayed in August when the Minneapolis Charter Commission voted to take more time to review the plan.
Something about reaping what you sow.

I am shocked that these liberal ran cities can be this lost on the consequences of their decisions.

Criminal: *pulls out gun*
Violence Interrupter: "Say brah, put that gun away!"
Criminal: "shite, you're right. My bad."

I mean, it's hard to argue with that unassailable point.
He could go a step further and make violence illegal, and skip the whole step of needing violence interrupters.

So they've diverted $1MM from the PD to fund "violence interpreters" who will suss out the "issues" before guns are introduced and become a crime?
Yet folks are still asking "Where are the Police?"

Would you want the job of being a Violence Interrupter? I'm assuming these people won't be armed. Seems like a good way to get killed.
