This thread has been highly entertaining
Always is.
I won't lie - the constant blaming of boomers is tiresome, but it's equally tiresome to see people just shite on millenials without acknowledging very basic economic facts.
Much of it reminds me of The Tipping Point.

So which part of my post do you disagree with?
Getting a masters in engineering today is more educated than an undergrad degree in engineering in 1970
That isn’t an opinion. How are people arguing this?

Most millennials I know are hard workers and are successful, but this thread is full of some whiny little bitches that give you normal millennials a bad name.

The whining in this thread is from mainly gen x
Millennials post data, gen x uses emotion and false talking points to argue said data

Shh. We don't admit that. At least not outside of the meetings.

There isn't much whining in this thread. There are a lot of stats coming from millennials and personal anecdotes from boomers and one gen xer.

You act like Millennials are the first generation to experience a recession.
No one acted like that.

Those of us who entered the job market in the early 90s were doing so in a recession.
While not ideal, that recession didn’t touch the depth of the downturn in 2007-2008.

And all of us are just damn lucky we were going out for our first job anytime between 1929 and 1941.
True

Millennials are the most educated generation. That isn’t an opinion, and to argue it is an embarrassment

Why are you comparing a BS to a MS?
Unless you’re making the claim obtaining a MS today is harder than it was in 1970?

Now this I agree with.

The same could probably be said for any boomers taking it seriously too.

which would anecdotally support the data in the OP

I don't see any Gen X in here bitching and moaning about how unfair life is today for them?

Holy shite
Milennials have he highest pct of high school grads, the highest pct of college grads, and the highest pct of masters/phds
That is what makes them factually the most educated generation. I have not said they are the wisest or most intelligent...

This is the same group that would probably argue Carl Lewis was faster than Usain Bolt if we didn't have the times to prove otherwise.

you're gen x? Lmao yall won't ever run shite. As soon as the boomers die millennials will be taking their spots. Y'alls numbers are weak.
