The U.S. in 2060 is going to be a radically different place than it is today.

Wealth will be aggressively redistributed.

Society, mores, & politics will be a dark comedic shitshow.

I sincerely fear for and am sad for all kids being born now.

Paraphrasing Bill Murray in “Groundhog Day”:

I am 56 and the dumber people I graduated with had most of the kids. I would imagine that hasn't improved.

Can't blame them
More debt from student loans and other things it wouldn't be wise to have more than 2 children these days. Not to mention both parents need to work unless one is making 6 figures a year (depending on what part of the nation of course)

This is bunk. They are selfish and have no intention of 'missing the party' because of Jr. needing someone to watch him.

They'll figure it out around the age of 50 when they look around their home and say, "all this crap I bought doesn't fulfill me". THEN they'll write a book about Finding Your Inner Peace, or some other baloney.

You sound bitter that you had kids in your 20s and the fun stopped.

It is a real wonder why America will be lost in 40 years.

MAYBE you are so shallow that this is true for you, but for the majority of people, and the overwhelming majority of women, it’s not.

They’ll become selfish and bitter unless they give themselves to something they see as greater than themselves.

I feel like this should be a good thing. The population doesn't always have to be increasing.
