This survey was only of college students. The non college millenials are still having plenty of kids.

no, they are not. the birthrate did not come from the survey.

Let’s not forget the availability of birth control. Millenials are less religious too, so there is less stigma over abortion. Nowadays if you aren’t financially prepared for a child you don’t have to have one

Yep. While the initial goal was to stop unwanted pregnancies and diseases, people have now parlayed it into a tool to avoid having children altogether to continue living as "sexual deviants".

You'll eventually get top heavy and not have the resources to support the elderly.

I do agree though, at some point in my lifetime I'm willing to bet we'll start seeing limitations on how many children we can have.

China has already been doing this, and Ted Turner proposed this idea at a global warming conference.

Only people who can afford children should have babies.

Thats like 30% of the population.

Upvote. Kids are expensive as hell. My wife called me at work 12 years ago and said that she was preggers. Ended up being twins. 15 months later I'm paying $1,600 per month in daycare. Love those little shite heads though

The effects of over-population are quite catastrophic.

Everyone can afford to have children when the government pays for it.
