When my wife bitches, my mother in law and mom remind her that they would have killed to have the help from their husbands that I provide.

Women are spoiled to the max now.

I just disagree with the Year bands of millennials. Wikipedia says 1981-1996. That’s a humongous band with a lot of differences. I didn’t have a cell phone in HS and was using Napster in college. A little different than someone born in 1996.

On a long enough timeline, you'll likely see social scientists embracing the Xennial label, but until then, we're Millennials. The more we own it, the more we crush the silly stereotypes.

Wasn’t that long ago that the term used was Generation Y

Good thing that has changed.

Spend 30 minutes on any dating app in any decent sized city and you’ll know this is full of shite.

Uncle Sam is the step daddy to over half the children born in the US in the last decade.

For Millennials, yes. But even back then, there were grumblings about how messy the line was between X and Y because you had a generation of about a decade that sits right on the line and essentially "grew up" with the technological revolution, giving them fundamentally different upbringings than the Xers that came before and the late Ys that came after.

My dad didn’t bring me to any national championship games as a kid. I’m breaking them chains with my sons.

ETA: he did take me to Omaha in 00 and 09 so I guess that counts.

I didn't go in. My wife had to have an emergency c section though so not a standard delivery.

This is because most of them don't work so they can't afford childcare thus the wife tells them to watch the kids all day.

But they are staring at their phones while Jr rolls around on the floor

I have a year old and work on the road during the week. On the weekends my time is spent with her. If my wife wants to be involved great.

I’m a father of three, born in 1989. I’m trying to turn at least one of my sons gay.

This boomer worked 2 jobs to provide. That don't leave much time for kids.

I don't see any millenniums working over 40 hr./wk.

inflation that has ensued in the housing and car markets as more money chases the same assets.

But we aren't chasing the same assets. "Our" grandparents raised 5 kids in a 1200sq ft house, ate home cooked fresh foods, shared a car, and the kids played in the street.

Now we have "luxury" vehicles with leather interiors, 2500sq ft houses for families with 1 or 2 kids, constant costly sports/extra curriculars, and kids with expensive phones.

1) Did you just make that up?
2) Who gives a shite which word they label you with. It’s all about your behavior.

If you spend time with your kids you’re soft. My dad rarely talked to me growing up and I turned out great.
