dude.
What about other qualities you look for in a spouse? Loyal, good caretaker, intelligent. Hell if you want to go the misogynistic route then how about how good she is at cooking, cleaning and sucking dick.
To say "the only qualities a woman brings to a relationship is her sex appeal" is just immature. That's something my 18 year old little brother would say.

I hope you approach middle age with humility. Because it will strip you of things you previously took for granted.

I'm not worried about your appearance. I'm trying to fat shame you into not being disgusting so your wife won't cheat on you.
You come off as a sensitive fat person.

Not true. This is where you took too much of the redpill.
This isn't 1940. Women make money today. That was one of the criteria I was looking for. Attractive, good personality, self-sufficient financially. My fiance makes good money as an attorney. I wanted her to bring more to the table than her looks.

Marriage is dead, for American women. Nobody wants to marry a narcissistic, insecure, ignorant, materialistic, domineering bitch. There is a French billionaire and he refuses to date American women. All they do is suck the life out of you.

It strips you of nothing. You just have more excuses.

Hopefully you'll care when she's fricking some dude she met at the gym.
Yep. We've already agreed that if we get married, and one of us doesn't stay attractive to the other physically, then divorce or infidelity is on the table

Men who get married and let themselves go
In fairness I know plenty of single men and women who let themselves go. I think its more an age thing than anything else.

It strips you if your loved ones- they grow old and die. Weddings are replaced by funerals. you no longer have adrenaline rushes. Your hair thins. You lose muscle mass. You get sick. You go to the dr and he tells you you have prostate cancer . Chemo then lays you low and you are throwing up instead of eating. Your balls hang low. Hair starts growing in your ear. You smell different . Your vision gets worse your hearing gets worse. You start forgetting names . That's your future whether you know it or not. Keep thinking that you'll always be fit healthy and young though- with youth comes hubris and entitlement and with age comes humility and gratitude for what you have.

I care about me and my family...do not care about what other people do...that's a sign of insecurity.

Eh if my future wife lets herself go AND explicitly gives no shits, that'll be a problem

When you become content it gets away from you , I'm working to lose my baby fat now. Gained about 45 lbs after marriage 11 years ago, down 30 in the past 12 months

Yeah I was wrong. I was referring to the sexual marketplace. Obviously women who are candidates to be LTRs/wives can have additional qualities, like the ability to cook, clean, and keep a household. However, her appearance is still the biggest slice of the pie that determines her value. A 400 pound land whale can be the best cook/cleaner/housekeeper/loyal/not trashy/etc. in the world but I wouldn't care.

I'm not sure who or what you're arguing against or why any of what you stated is relevant. You usually have really solid opinions, and I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying it's not pertinent.
I'm not sure how loved ones dying or other sad things that happen in life are reasons to not eat healthy and work on your body every once in awhile.
When I said old age strips you of nothing but gives you more excuses, I was obviously saying that as it relates to eating healthy and taking care of yourself. There are obviously diseases that prevent some people from going to the gym or eating the way they would like. I'm not talking about those people. The VAST majority of people, irrespective of age, can and should always eat healthy and take care of their bodies.

Having kids and working full time is pretty much the death nail for being in shape.
I see this excuse a lot, and I just don't buy it. Work, marriage and kids sure do limit your free time, but it doesn't make you fat. It's how you prioritize that limited free time that matters. If you want to kick your feet up drink a beer instead, that's perfectly fine, but it's simply a lack of motivation that keeps many from staying in decent shape.
