re: Men who get married and let themselves go

It definitely isn't hard to do and I myself am guilty of it. Get an office job working 10 hour days and you don't feel like doing shite when you get home but drink a beer and unwind. Couple that with a few kids and a ton of shite to do around the house and not enough daylight and you are suddenly out of time for yourself. The motivation level to workout drops way down the priority list. When i was in college it was easy to find two hours a day to spend in a gym. Now not so much.
Your metabolism slows too.
I weighed 130 in college and ate whatever I wanted. Now I have to work to stay under 150.

That's kind of shallow huh?
everyone that doesn't work out is not a 'slob'

Damn son were you on the equestrian team?

I thought you were the guy talking about slamming people through kitchen tables. What happened to that?

The topic is just a condescending list of generalized assumptions you made. It perfectly demonstrates the same thing many of your threads are meant to demonstrate, that you have life uniquely figured out and everybody else is doing it wrong. Where to travel, how to parent, how to have sex with our wives, whatever you seem to be proud of on that day. I and dozens of others are giving you much-needed additional perspective that challenges your simplistic and narcissistic perspective and this has triggered you. Like it always does. And now you have devolved to fantasy straw-men conversations in which you misrepresent what I am saying to you.
Melt.
Melt.

Oh no, not saying that. Just that if someone wants to be or remain a slob then fine. Just quit making excuses about it.

The irony of your accusing me of using straw man fallacies when I'm the one trying to stay on topic and youd rather conduct psychoanalysis on me.

Fiance. We aren't married yet.

My threads trigger you so badly.
Posted on 2/8/17 at 12:16 pm to Pecker
Triggered is when you have a disproportionate emotional response to something you don't agree with. Like making up a detailed imaginary conversation, complete with exclamation points and silly Straw Men. One of us did that, and it sure wasn't me.

I'm just trying to help you stay on topic. Not sure how you can characterize that as an "emotional response."
Something obviously bothered you enough for you to resort to ad hominem attacks. That's certainly not the mark of a psychologically stable person.
That's just my two cents though.
Now tell me how out of shape you are. Then tell me the reasons. And lets work through this.

Dude, you can't get out of your own way fast enough to deal with a savage like me, go sit down somewhere
And no, you aren't already sitting down, you're probably doing crunches or bench pressing right now so STFU

This doesn't make any sense. Can you please explain it?

Just FYI, the following facts are not mutually exclusive.
1. It is much, much easier to commit the time to keeping yourself in good shape before marriage and children.
2. It is possible to commit to keeping yourself in good shape after marriage and children.

Absolutely. I've been told it's almost impossible though because as you get older, your hair thins and you lose loved ones to old age.

You are becoming my favorite poster. Between this and the kids on a plane thread...

I just don't understand why everyone is so easily triggered
