My mom's husband does this, especially when they come down from Kansas, and I find it kind of weak really. I always drive too. Rarely does my wife drive. I love to do it and she hates it so win-win.

For some reason, we got in the habit of my wife driving when we visit her parents, which is 2-3 times a year.
My wife drives maybe a third of the time.
I don't mind at all. I drive the bulk of the time around town, so I get a chance to look out the window and gawk at shite .

I let mine drive just this morning. I was exhausted, and have no insecurities about it. I'll never verbalize it, but she's a better driver than I am. It doesn't affect my manhood in the least.
