For him saying the truth? It's not as if he said he shouldn't have done it, but rather kept his mouth shut and not been an attention whore over it.
No he want's him to be prosecuted! What a douchebag. The dude is just having fun and exposing a security weakness. You want him to be locked up for something that's not his fault?

He probably said that just because the guy was so dumb for spilling this all over social media, hence he's almost guaranteed to be prosecuted now. And furthermore, it is his fault - he forged the damned pass and bragged about it on social media.

Some kid did this at the A&M vs bama game in 2012 and stood on the damn Aggy sideline dressed as a coach, even went into the locker room at halftime

Forging security credentials is a crime and his fault.
It's cool that he did it.
He's a retard for posting it all over social media and he should reep what he sows. Social media and the people who use it to blast their life to strangers is idiotic to me. Time to pay the price, dipshit.
It's funny how mad people get that I called this kid, who is clearly an idiot, an idiot.

Stupid for posting on social media, IMO

I'm glad he bragged about it. I hope he's prosecuted. This is an example of a story you tell your friends not something you blast on social media.
To kids today, posting it on social media is how they brag to their friends. Could bite him in the backside.

Yea for a federal agency not for a fricking media outlet entering a sports facility. The most they would do is kick him out and take the pass. You need to be angry that your beloved country failed a security check yet again not at the harmless kid having fun watching a basketball team he loves.

The best story ever is the Notre Dame fan who dressed up like a priest and went to a ton of games over multiple seasons. He got access to the sideline, etc. Nobody ever said anything to him because who would ever question a priest at a Notre Dame game?

I also have a friend that snuck in to the game and got on the court after and got pictures with Adam Silver, and close up videos of lebron and Kyrie. He was right by the team picture videoing everything and putting it on his Snapchat Mystory. He did this all by telling security he was Dellevadova's (sp?) brother

When I was a student at LSU I did a few gigs for CBS and got press passes. They appeared extremely easy to forge, as long as you knew what they would look like in advance.

One of my favorite stories is about the guy that snuck into the LSU/Ole Miss game in '59 as a referee and ended up being in the Billy Cannon punt return clip, running down the sideline with him.

This reminds me of my friend who dressed in a tux and acted like he was with the catering crew, in order to sneak into a concert.
He got backstage and once he was back there he (and the actual catering crew) realized that the catering crew was not dressed in tuxes and that he was not part of that catering crew, so he acted like his "boss" sent him to the wrong location and got on his phone. After he got off of his phone he asked if he could go to the restroom while they attempted to figure out the mix up. As he walked away he snuck into the concert, rather than going to the restroom.

Point out that security is lacking at major sporting events. Get someone fired. Such a hero.
Exactly. Whoever works security in that area will be fired and their boss may be fired. The company with the cleaning contract might fire someone and lose one of their best customers.
The teams issue passes for all of the NBA games except for the Finals. News outlets email them with a request and they email back with an answer. You send them a photo for a season pass and it's there at some point in the preseason. If they don't think you need a season pass you can send requests for individual game passes.
Issuing media passes for the Finals is a more secure process. Media outlets request passes from the NBA. The NBA comes comes into town, sets up a trailer outside the arena and does security checks on everyone that gets a pass. Media members have to go down beforehand to fill out paperwork, sit and wait while they check you out and then have their picture taken for it. I would imagine a lot of the national media that's located in, and around, New York do all of this in the NBA offices. That pass is good only for the games for which you requested a pass.
The point of all of this is the level of security at the Finals is supposed to be much higher than during the season. They will look at this as a big deal. Since the guy put it all out there he will likely be prosecuted. This would be a great story to tell on here, but the dude went too far.
