You certainly seem to have mastered this part of the game.

I once got a fake ID, went to a couple of casinos in Vegas, put a quarter in a slot machine and won a car. Did that 2 more times. I also got hot on the crap table and got comped a big arse suite and my bud Chilli from Philly hooked me up with some new threads. My dad lost his arse though.

WG Dawg will probably be the only one to get a kick out of this story because it is not even close to the level this guy pulled off.
In 2003, I took a friend who worked at CNN to his first ever UGA game. shite game as we were playing Middle Tenn State. We got very drunk pre-game and were still pretty wasted at halftime. We were on the south side 20 yard line on the bridge end. With little time left in the half, we started down the stairs to the hedges to go take a piss under the EZ bleachers bathroom.
I heard the PA announcer say for all former players to who were participating in the Vince Dooley former players halftime ceremony to report to the SW corner EZ. I saw about 100+ guys in a line hanging out and told my friend to play along. I asked a guy if this is where we check in for the ceremony and he said yes. I noticed most of the men had a spouse or another adult going in with them and asked the same guy if we were allowed to have a friend or family member go out with us. He said yes but only one to photograph. There was a girl with a clipboard and a walkie talkie checking off names. I approached her and asked if this is where I check in for the ceremony. My friend had the WTF are you doing look.
She asked my name and I gave her my real name. She searched through her list and told me my name wasn't on it. I played innocent and told her that I had received a letter about the ceremony and had driven from North Carolina to participate and told her my buddy was there to photograph. She asked when I played and I told her from 85-88.
About that time they swung open the gate and everyone started going into the field. I asked the girl what we needed to do and she told us to just go on ahead and she didn't know why my name wasn't on the list.
We all lined up at mid field from 30 to 30 and the PA announcer started the "please focus your attention to mid field......give a warm welcome former UGA HC Coach Vince Dooley and some of his former players.....etc"
I just stood there and waved to the crowd like everyone else.
When it was over, we just walked out the gate with the group. Like I said, nothing like this Poag guys caper but it sure as hell made a drunken Saturday against a shite opponent one to remember.

The NBA is a very self aware business. They aren't stupid enough to press charges against the kid and take on the bad publicity.
I bet this kid gets some free box seats from the Warriors next season and a shoutout from the PA announcer. That's how things are done these days.

It's not a big deal at all the kid made a fake pass and got in, it's the fact he got in through a side door and not the main press entrances that's a big deal. The press still has to go through security and what not to a degree, so the fact this kid got around that procedure is what's going to bother people. And the fact that a security guard made contact from the beginning and failed in their job.
