It’s an old saying that holds a lot of weight.

I told the OT mob I would admit if I was wrong. Yes, the McMichael’s are racist POS; and I was wrong. But we still have to wait for the trial to convict them.

They can make up everything else they want but that is still my stance. Growing up in NO I don’t see a ton of racism. So, I guess it’s not as prevalent as some would say. But it’s an election year.

I’ll just let it roll; just like 2016. We will be fine.

They even hit him hard enough to put a dent in the truck.

But they "just wanted to talk" to him, right?

His attorneys will surely indicate this suggests he was attacking them and hitting their truck hard enough to dent it.

Some were asking why would Arbery suddenly charge the young McMichael holding a shotgun. I think we know now and it’s what I suspected. The chase was intense. These boys were actively trying to force Arbery to stop.

Probably for the truth of the matter asserted, but we are way too early in the process to know that. I suspect it will qualify as hearsay. I also suspect an exception will permit it's admissibility.

It was Arbery. With the magic hammer. In the street.

I don't know Ga law, but a party admission is generally non-hearsay. The defendant (Travis McMichael) is a party, so his statements come in.

It's why confessions aren't precluded as hearsay.

They are still hearsay by definition, but are admissible as an exception to the general rule that precludes hearsay evidence. There are several traditional exceptions to hearsay that could apply here.
