Ah, the other side finally. Makes more sense. What we saw on camera sure as shite looked like a bunch of kids doing standard kid things and running from an area where police were, which happens everywhere. If indeed this side of the story is true, I could see some things escalating a little bit. Still seemed like Psycho Cop was more mad about being laughed at as he busted his arse in the grass than he was worried about containing the situation.

What I couldn't believe, and thought was fricked up/crazy/hilarious/terrible, was the fact that on the beginning, the younger black kids were fighting with each about who got to give the cop his flashlight back. Then they ended up on the ground and were treated like crap. They were obviously good kids that wanted to do here right thing, and it worked out horribly for them.
This story also reminds me of this other story....
And we wonder why our police force does such stupid things. It's because they aren't that smart.

Yeah, you just made that up. It was a Hispanic kid and the white kid videoing that were talking about who would give him the flashlight.

Haven't read this whole thread, but I spent some formative years in McKinney before the sprawl of suburban breeding pens and pretentious subdivisions reached it's gates.
I watched the video and nothing surprises me. Bored, steroidal suburban cops and uppity soccer moms in Craigs Ranch. Mix in some unruly teens (many of whom don't fit the "profile" of craigs ranch) and there you have it. Cop should've taken the high road and now he will pay with his job.

Enough is enough. Plenty of people have low paying crappy jobs. But LE across the nation needs to immediately start a reprogramming training for all LEOs around the nation.

Have videos of the fights between adult and teenages from this been posted? After watching those, and watching the guy reach with his left hand behind his left hip almost like an act of I'm reaching for a weapon. I completely understand why the Office pulled his weapon. Also, he did not point it at anyone, once the perceived threat was gone, he holstered his weapon. I don't really see the issue.
