Safety you can't argue that this is a situation where black teens are being targeted. They were not supposed to be there. They were asked to leave and they didn't. They did not have respect for the people living in the community nor any authority figure. Just because they wanted to "have fun" doesn't give them the right to.
im having a party at StrongSafeties house.... dont worry if he asks us to leave- thats on him, not us.

I think alot of these posters would feel differently if they lived in that community and that's what they came home to.

It still exists, sadly.
I grew up in an area that was rather affluent. We were near a lot of mediocre, somewhat bad areas, but this was a pocket of good schools and upper-middle wealth. The surrounding areas were much more minority-dominated.
We didn't have a ton of black kids around growing up. Some, not tons. It increased steadily as I grew up, but only to where black families were visible, still not a significant portion of the community at all. Relations were pretty good from my perspective, we all got along well and there wasn't much animosity on either side.
I went off to college, and within about 5 years our area really started to become a hot area for black middle class families. My guess is that they were hoping to enjoy what I enjoyed, good public schools, safety, etc. But, with the growth of the black community came visitors from the outside (mostly black) who seemed to have the attitude that with the growth of the black portion of our area, they were now welcome as well.
Fast forward another 5 years. Crime is up. The surrounding areas' dominate our stores and restaurants, make a mess, and leave. Housing prices are heavily depressed, meaning some folks from surrounding areas are actually moving into the area. The public school I went to is total shite with, supposedly, a gang problem.
This is anecdotal, obviously. But I imagine you can understand it sucked to watch your community go to shite over the course of a decade. Admittedly, part of this was allowed to occur because white people (and the black families seeking the same things) fled when more and more black people started frequenting the area. But they weren't the cause of it, and their fears were at least partially justified.
So, in sum, I agree it is a sad situation. But I'm not going to pretend that black/white flights are the crux of the problem.

You do know that all those kids live in McKinney, Allen, Plano & Little Elm, right? They didn't live in that particular subdivision but they lived in one very, very similar to it. These aren't poor kids shipped in from the city. These are upper middle class kids from neighborhoods with their own community pools - many of which have already been crashed as that is this group's thing.

Their parents should be embarrassed. If I had got caught doing something like this as a teen, my dad would havery beaten the cap out of me for embarrassing him. Sadly this kids think being black is defined by what they hear on the radio and see on tv.

All this arguing & bickering got everybody here missing the most important question to this whole tragic event
Did Richard find his navy blue bag? Dude lost his bag & the cop didn't even GAF!!

Yup and because he is I'm about to become the first black president of the company I work for. His a-hole ways are paying off for me.

Good for you but that's not a pre-requisite

This isn't 1950.
We live in a different society. Today's youth is far less pussified.

I can't stand the girls in the video. They're not listening to the cop, they're talking crap and ignoring his orders, then the cop goes to cuff one of them and she resists, he takes her to the ground and now here come the tears and "He hit me! He can't do that! Call my mama!" ... acting like she was an innocent flower who was savagely beaten for no reason.
I don't know the word for someone like her... spoiled? Entitled? I don't know what the right word is.
Anyway, the cop is obviously an a-hole, but many of those teens were just asking for trouble by mouthing off and ignoring orders.

Aside from your "I have heard of" as the foundation of your statement being dubious and unsupported, what business of yours is it where people choose to live? Why do you think you should be able to compel people to live around others that, for whatever reason, they'd prefer not to or slander them for leaving? These people are seeking to AVOID conflict, not cause confrontations of cultures.
I know that in Slidell there are people moving to get away from the influx of some southshore people that have been moving in. And it's primarily white south shore people with a different cultural attitude about them, not blacks.
That you think it your place to insult people's character for not wanting to live around people they are not happy or comfortable living around is fricking laughable. To live around anyone you don't feel safe or comfortable around in order to be politically correct is asinine.

This is America and I can live wherever the frick I want for whatever the frick reasons I may have. Stop being a whiny bitch

This is not true...my in-laws live in a government assisted community in east McKinney and the girl thrown to the ground lives in the same complex...nothing like the neighborhood they were crashing...
My issue with a lot of these cop abusive racist issues is the fact that the "victim" is almost always doing something wrong...running from cops, resisting, ignoring them etc...that part just gets ignored...how about those kids respect authority, the cops sort things out, and they are just asked to leave a place they had no right to be in anyway...instead there's attitudes, defiance of authority, mouthing off, running and disobeying the cops etc.
Looking big picture, if this stuff continues why would any quality individual want to be a cop? Look at this situation...no one was hurt, no charges were filed and yet this cop is suspended...
