The customer base has degraded as well. The shite McDonalds managers have to put up strains belief. It’s hard to even recognize our culture anymore, it’s all so run down and lowest common denominator. McDonalds is just a canary in the coal mine.

CFA seems to manage hiring decent workers which translates into good service which translates into more business. Can’t understand why other fast food places don’t copy that model.

Holy shite, no, they were never good. They were always horrible. They do everything to the minimum standard, whether that's the number of qualified managers in a restaurant or the time they let the fries cook. That's why their store's french fries are always just barely done, versus the nice golden crispness we grew up with, and why their stores are always like a Chinese fire drill come crunch time and a lot of customers show up.
I'll never forget when Perkins Rowe was being built....a mass of construction workers would show up at lunch time at the location on Perkins right there at Bluebonnet, every single day, for years, and every single day the store's management looked overwhelmed and could never get a handle on the fact that they were going to get swamped at that time, regardless.
Valluzzo cuts every single corner they can, and don't give a damn about customer satisfaction or the quality of their product.

I haven't set foot in a McDonald's in a VERY long time. Mainly because McDonald's has sucked for a VERY long time.
