How about the optics of going to Cuba 2 months ago under the radar as well.
What about the optics of her abusing a city credit card while she was a councilwoman??
What was the outcome from that trip? to whom and how was it benficial to the state or the city? there were about 30 people that went on that trip

If she’s talking about what NOT to do, then I have no problem with this.

We should really fire the people who have a mayors conference in Hawaii first.

No time like the present for a good ol fashioned engine failure.

I have no problem with her going on tax payer dollar (let's be real, we'd all take a 'business trip' to Hawaii). HOWEVER, her family better not be traveling on the taxpayer's dollar. Unfortunately, we all know the answer to that bc her office would've made a statement if that was the case.

This is such bull shite. Why can’t this conference be held on the contiguous USA?
Well, it was in Boston last year.

Hawaii?
Why couldn't they have it on the mainland? Topeka? Biloxi? Memphis? Houston?
Nah, frick it. Let's take our families to Hawaii!!!!!!!!
I don't think it was up to her. She's just 1 mayor attending a conference for all mayors. This shite is pretty common, too.
I have n skin in the game, as I live in another state. But this seems to be a bit of faux outrage. Don't water down the other actual issues.

she going to teach other mayors around the country about infrastructure???
To be fair, we don't know the subject of her talk or what she'll contribute to the panel.
Like I said, I think she's a great resource for other mayors on how NOT to handle sewerage and water issues, and I don't mean that jokingly.

Husband’s going so he can score some of that good Maui Wowie.

ASSUMING the taxpayers aren’t paying for her husband and kid
It’s LaToya Cantrell. It’s New Orleans. That’s a really huge assumption.

Those cities have the population to qualify to go to that conference?
Yes, three of the four are the 3 biggest cities in Louisiana population-wise. And Monroe is in the top 10. There are almost a million people in all of those cities combined.

Seeing her laugh in that photo really pisses me off. I don't own a home so I don't keep yard tools, but this lady owes me a new broom, dammit! I ruined my kitchen broom cleaning out my "adopted" drain basin.
