No surprise here, all conferences are just fronts for partying. Our industry's conference was in Vegas this year. No real work done, just an excuse for gambling, drinking, and strippers

Idk, but that most likely wasn't her call. This is a national mayor's conference. I doubt Latoya Cantrell pulled strings to have it in Hawaii.

I would. I care what people think of me. I wouldn't take public funds to pay for my family's vacation.
Even if the city paid my way, I wouldn't allow my family to go. Optics of it are horrible.
