Let’s not worry about drainage, crime or even the damn statues. Let’s jump on this!
Honorable mention to the fricking pandering by adding People of Color to the press release.
Wonder what this will cost? Meetings, meetings, catering, “community outreach” via contracts to campaign donors. Business as usual NOLA style.

I'd prefer Potholes That Can Swallow A Tank Task Force or Go A Full Week Without A Murder Task Force or Bring In Jobs That Pay More Than Starvation Wage Task Force. But that's just me.

Perhaps a better way of handling such matters is creating an elected representative government that is focused on the needs of simply THE PEOPLE it represents.
All those other letters and subgroups seem excessive and prioritizes the needs of certain groups and neglects others.
