Let's make the fatties stay home too. They're at risk, and more importantly they're going to clog up the gym. It's going to be like another new years resolution period

I really hope that is the case. However, this has become a money making operation for state governments and hospitals. They are essentially getting paid to drag this out or to put people in the hospital/on ventilators.
I have a feeling that some governors in red states will open up while a lot of blue state ones will stretch this out as long as they can.

This should have happened yesterday.

Blue state governors are going to have a tough time selling that when their neighbors are resuming normal life.

I have a hard time believing this with all the lost tax revenue.

If we can get ten threads like this per day, I can see normalcy returning before the end of the month.

They are pretty much all hemorrhaging money.
Even hospitals in cities like NO and NY are suffering because of this.

Last count was over 16 million new unemployed and that was like a week ago. I have no doubt that number is over 20 million now. The longer we wait, the worse that number will grow and the more small businesses we will lose. I say open no later than 1 May. The more we wait, the longer it’s going to take to recover.

Old and sick people stay home. Everyone wear a mask outside of the home and wash your hands every hour. Infection rates stay low and we avoid further financial ruin.

One of the dumbest coronavirus takes I've seen. And there are a lot of dumb takes around here

An extra day is added everytime this thread is made.
So now we’re looking at around November 27.

What he meant is the hospitals will be getting a shite ton of government money as the nurses sit around making tik tok dance videos all day long

How about my healthy, 42 year old friend who went to a mandatory conference around the first of March. She didn’t survive the COVID-19 virus that was passed on to her at that conference.
