Where are you getting your info? All elective procedures cancelled. If you need a knee or hip replacement you are on hold, the list goes on and on.
Just think of childrens hospitals, they are in dire need and worse shape than regular hospitals. All elective procedures cancelled and not many corona virus patients.

OK. Let me rephrase, what do you think the country will look like financially if we stay on lockdown until August? Also, how are small businesses, or hell, even big businesses supposed to survive until then?

Thats what I don't understand with all the Karens and TDS stormtroopers screaming on FB, etc. No one is forcing you to leave your house. You sit your arse home and the rest of us will conduct our own risk assessment and go make money. My office has remained open for the duration and everyone has the option of working from home if they so choose. Once (if) the government stops with the handouts, then we will see what happens.

I would be considered 'high risk', but have not worn any gloves or mask, I just wash my hands a lot, but that is something I have always done. I have been supporting my local food establishments, but I want to sit in and eat, not take out! The chicken littles act like this is the Black Death of the Middle Ages, which it is not. We still don't know how many so called 'deaths' are purely a result of having the virus as opposed to underlying health issues. Another thing they don't know is how many of us may have built in immunity toward this virus.
I think we should open up and make it a personal choice as to whether someone wants to stay inside, away from the public. If nothing else, most of the country is probably healthier due to simple things like washing hands more than ever before. From this point further, a lot of people will probably continue to use personal safe guards well into the future. All I know is open up the damn country!!

Well, the county HIgh Schools here are not paying for maintenance, tires, gas for any buses. And, not to mention the power bills as well. Isn’t that a ton of money kept in the Counties’ pockets?
