Not sure what him having a hunting license has to do with anything.

Then what a sham journalism has become.

Tweet analysis leads to further racism claims. Have 280 characters ever said so much? News at 11:00!

For something like this, you don’t just show up and hope to get a good room.

I'm sure he probably requested a room on that side of the hotel and a mid to high level floor at the very least. From the vantage point, it seems hundreds of rooms would have suited this a-hole's plan.

That request would raise ZERO eyebrows. Its just "stripview". I have a ton of pics from that assholes viewpoint. 10 years ago and a few floors difference.

Why don't these fricks just have the common decency to go home, stick the business end of a Mossberg in their mouth and spray cherry pie all over the wall instead of hurting others before.

Hard to tell with echos. Some sounds you are hearing could be echos and not real shots.

Did he stroll in and grab that room that day or did he book ahead on like Expedia or something? If he did it online, he could have easily gotten that exact room ahead of time

Probably booked by phone. In Vegas it is common for folks to book rooms on particular sides of the hotel wanting specific views or to avoid noise. Requesting a room on that particular side wouldn't raise any red flags.

Same. Not saying it actually happened, but people acting like it's normal are lying.

Exactly. They get that request multiple times a day.

Why is it insane? The no formal training part. All he had to do was simple aim a gun in a general area and pull a trigger.

I love the buzzwords like formal training, tactical stance, assault weapon people regurgitate after things like this because the media likes to use them.

No different than aiming a gun into a barrell full of fish. A crowd of 30,000 people is an unmissable target.

Not talk to the media for one. And if you do, don't give such an odd interview

Proooobbably not talk to the media. but who knows, the poor guy is in shock. I'm sure they knocked on his door, and he just walked outside and started answering questions before he realized what was happening.
