Knowing the crowd size/visitors, popularity of the event and the vantage point of the room he booked, how far in advance does a person have to reserve a corner suite like this to even have the opportunity? Even the booking logistics of this situation are odd to me.
Either way, he was there since the 28th, so he had plenty of time to scout it during this stay.
Doesn't seem that hard to find dates way in advance when you know there's a show and book and ask for a specific room

I agree. I'm not even sure he shot off in excess of 500 rounds. No idea. But to have that many people get injured, shot and/or trampled, must have been absolutely terrorizing. By the way they showed some people hurling themselves over what looked like some type of chain link fence, I could see a lot of injuries from that.

There are always trampling injuries from these kinds of things. I think the high number of injured in the hospitals supports that idea.

Not that this isn’t linked, but those types are always around big events, usually with big signs.

I get that but there are a finite number of rooms to be booked at that hotel, on that side and with the perfect vantage point. Surely someone will remember this guy being so adamant or specific with what he wanted.

There were many breaks between the groups of shots from what I heard on several of the video clips. Like 30-45 seconds. Much longer than a mag change. Wonder what that was?

I dunno man, go listen to it. He seems to be firing non-stop auto until the magazine was empty. Then switching guns. Then firing non stop again. Maybe after all the guns were empty he started reloading. More info will come out but go listen to the start of the shooting. I believe they have said he had 8 to 10 guns.

So bizarre. I have trouble believing that's a coincidence, but I have been to so many shows that I know how many unhinged people are attracted to them

Did he stroll in and grab that room that day or did he book ahead on like Expedia or something? If he did it online, he could have easily gotten that exact room ahead of time.

I'm sure he probably requested a room on that side of the hotel and a mid to high level floor at the very least. From the vantage point, it seems hundreds of rooms would have suited this a-hole's plan.

You’ve never seen those crazy people walking around events with signs telling people they’re going to die and go to hell?
They had those types at the Trump rally in BR last year.

There's nothing suspicious about a person wanting a room with a specific view. Especially in a place like Las Vegas.
