On top of that, wrapping my head around over 500 injured as well, it's staggering. I always wondered when this was going to happen. And thought it would be at a sporting event, but knew it would be in a large gathering of people that could not easily escape.

Plus - if this was firing in constant FULL auto his magazines would have been emptying with a quickness.
Constant reloads even with a drum - reports state there was constant fire for 10 minutes. No way that was in full auto

I doubt all injuries are gunshot wounds. Some are likely injuries from being trampled in the hysteria trying to get away.

I would think that at this point, the only things that might reveal a motive would be either a journal or note left at his residence or the contents of his computer.

Not sure about this particular event, but there’s always something big going on in Vegas, and those hotels have massive amounts of rooms. It wouldn’t surprise me if he called recently and got the room, especially if it was one of those expensive corner suites. Country music folk aren’t really the type to fork out 500-1k a night for a room

Booking in Vegas really isn't that difficult. I wouldn't consider myself a "high roller" by any means, but I could call and book a suite for this weekend on Thursday afternoon. This guy may just be a regular.

Looked it up - if the 10 minute time is true and he fired with a legal slide fire type add on and never stopped firing he could have fired up to 9000 rounds.
That seems off. Obviously either the time is off or he wasn’t firing as much as indicated.
