How much worse would this have been if he had flown one of his planes into the crowd?

No clue. Anxiety manifests itself differently from person to person. I don't think it would explain a homicidal rampage.

I'm not so sure it couldn't. As a person who has suffered/suffers from bad anxiety issues, it could really frick with your mind. Mine never really turned to homicidal tendencies, but rage was definitely part of it. I could definitely see anxiety playing a role in this. Especially with the benzos involved.

to everyone saying if it was one of their kids in that guys video they'd kick this guys arse.... why the frick would you be watching these videos knowing there is a possibility of witnessing your child taking a bullet?

also, the guy may be an attention whore but at least he was trying to get help to those who needed it

I actually disagree with this sentiment. The planes he owned were single engine 4 seater planes made of aluminum. A flying coke can with a propeller that would have broken up almost immediately. People would have died, but not anywhere near the 59 he killed, and 500+ almost certainly wouldn't have been injured.

Here is a video of a Cessna crash landing. Look at how flimsy these planes are. Seriously just a floating coke can.

It looks like they do line up to me... First pic is from behind the hotel looking at the concert ground, 2nd pic is from behind the concert grounds looking at the hotel.

definitely would. That pilot was supposedly in his 70s or something. Not sure why he decided to try to put it down in that parking lot as opposed to the huge open field on the other side. He was basically uninjured in the crash, though. The plane crumpled.

Well a shitload more than 59+ would've died just from the impact alone, not to mention how many would've died had a bomb been rigged in his plane.

Just to be Devil's Advocate here, but I would think he wouldn't have dive bombed it and in a crowd of 22,000 people crunched together a "controlled" crash probably would've killed a lot more than 59.

ETA: If he tried to "land it" there, I'd assume that the breakup and forward energy of the plane would've impacted a much greater number of people

I'd say the fact that he posted online tells you the reason he was taking video.

True, now imagine an open field with sitting ducks coupled with a bomb.

Yeah it seems like you'd need to execute that to perfection to come close to the same injury or death toll, if it were possible at all.

I'm always surprised by the relatively small/non-violent (lack of better term) footprint of those small plane crashes

Look at the video I posted. These small planes are flimsy as shite - literally hollow aluminum. Would have fallen apart at first impact.

I refuse to watch the video, so can anyone tell me how many people he looked at and what number of people were still alive when he checked? Did it look like any may have survived had they gotten help? I'm guessing the video doesn't show anyone else administering aid,
