Come on, I don't know many outside of professional/sponsored type poker players that make that kind of money solely from gambling.
Most poker players come into that with money, it isn't where they make their money.
And obviously, yea I don't know people myself who are professional gamblers, but Vegas is most certainly littered with a bunch of them.
ETA: Though I do agree that it wouldn't surprise me at all if he had some undercover/illegal shite going on with that as well.

When have you ever heard of one of these attacks that has no reason?
Newton - Mental illness
Va Tech - Mental Illness
Colorado THeater - Mental Illness
9/11, Oklahoma City, Charleston Church shooting, Columbine.....there is always some underlying reason or idealogy at play.

This is feasible until the "do something crazy" part. Why would they want that kind of attention brought on if he was laundering money for them?
If the group he was laundering for was tied to ISIS in the Philippines, it would be the perfect ending for their relationship, no? I haven't really thought it through, but I am trying to figure something out.

I think he knows the rug is about to get pulled out from under him. He is scared crazy.
Sure, maybe he knows shite and is about to be screwed.
I think his interviews are just about exactly what I'd expect from an already weird/quirky dude 24-48 hour after finding this out about his brother.

His brother is probably still in shock, hasn't slept much at all, been having every phone and email account blown up, and has reporters constantly pestering him to answer the same exact questions over and over.
I wouldn't be surprised if he has a mental breakdown soon, and just curled up in a ball and started crying

Well, Stephen did consider himself a professional gambler.

Also said $100K isn't really that much money. The brother really made sure to let everyone know how wealthy they are. Strange.

Your tinfoil hat is waaay too tight this morning. You seemed to be more rational last night.

You say it right there. Mental illness is a common reason.
Newton, VT, UT clock tower, Aurora, these are all really high profile incidents and all are due to mental illness.
I think that's a lot more likely in this case than the ISIS scenarios people are coming up with.

I know, I am not really saying this is what I actually believe though.
I do still think there could be a connection ultimately to some terrorist activities though. Could also just be a paranoid mentally ill person.

The ISIS thing makes me laugh. I can be completely wrong, but I would be the farm that ISIS had absolutely nothing to do with this. ISIS is as weak as they have ever been so they look for anything to take credit for to show they are still a threat. People should worry about a lot of other shite before they worry about ISIS.

This is what I am wondering. Where did this guy get money to start just buying shite in cash

If that comes out (maybe the Valium or something sent him over the edge), then I will have no problem accepting that.
Most of those other instances had family members and psychologists that knew the participant was messed up though.

Why in the hell would he give a frick about broken glass falling to the ground right before he unleashed Hell on 22000 people below?

I was just referring to Eric saying, "Steve didn't love it. It was a job. Steve didn't love the casino, the casino was the means to an end. It was like a job for Toyota in Japan, where you live in the Toyota apartments across the street, and you go to the Toyota factory to work."

Hotel room glass that runs from floor to ceiling is tempered by law for safety reasons. It would be impossible to stitch it up, as tempered glass shatters in tiny pieces. There wouldn't be significant cracks but rather thousands of individual shards hanging on, he used the hammer to break out sections for a opening, which was necessary because a lot of that type of glass is laminated as well, so it has a inter-layer (some type of plastic like composition) that 2 pieces of glass are sandwiched against which would keep it relatively "intact" even after the panes shatter; similar to a windshield. I suppose he could have used the tape to pull the glass inwards, but the tape would have to have some crazy adhesive to maintain the peel resistance needed to pull apart a shattered tempered laminate pane of glass; I just don't see it.

Can we stop with ISIS in the Philippines nonsense. There could definitely be a terror group connection but ISIS in the Philippines is nonsense at this point. Also the idea that he targeted conservatives because it's a country concert can pretty much be thrown away with reports that he originally tried to get a room at a hotel above a pop type concert headlined by Lorde and Chance the Rapper
