I keep bringing this up, and maybe I'm just paranoid, but why haven't more details about his "substantial property investments" been released? I figure it would be easy to find a paper trail for a supposed multi-millionaire property investor.

Maybe they're in multiple states under multiple LLCs.

Maybe the LLC's aren't in his name, but rather a business partner's.

You never know with these things.

I'm asking seriously, why does it even matter? The weapon was clearly fired in an automatic manner. The results were the same, no?

No. Terminology is important.

I can shoot a pressurized can and make it a shrapnel fire bomb.

Are you comfortable calling all pressurized canned products, such as spray paint, shrapnel fire bombs?

There is so much that hasn't been released.

Him carrying the supplies up to the room would be a good place to start.

Because cell phone cameras are so kosher on the floor at casinos

And how would people tag him in social media if they don't know him?

My dad lives a pretty charmed life. Knows a lot of people, works with some high profile folks for his job, etc. He is a ghost on the internet, in terms of photos, besides his profile on his company's website.

But in terms of destruction, you can obviously get Full Auto results with SA.

There is a very good argument that lives were spared because of the faster rate of fire. There is a reason the Marine Corps moved away from full auto and burst fire and insisted on semi automatic, aimed fire for their marksmanship programs. Fully auto weapons are more for support and suppression for fire and movement, rather than just "mow down" a wave of people.

All the security footage from the hotel is going to be juicy.

So are the better hotel room photos. Only a few of the guns have been leaked. I want to see panoramic views of the room with the shooting platforms, etc.

time for all the "anyone who thinks that wasnt fully automatic is retarded" people to come back and eat their crow. 0% of them have ever fired an automatic weapon, im sure

I was certainly one who used the term full auto. But that is exactly what a bump stick does. It simulates full auto. People were arguing semantics and it does not matter, the guns were still firing in auto. And I said that yesterday.

Honestly, for all the preparation this psycho put into this and even for how bad it was, it could've been way worse. He could've had a bomb in the hotel rigged to go off at the end. He could've flown a plane loaded with bomb materials into that crowd (or the hotel).

After a day and a half and very basic info, all we have is two pics that were candidly snapped and released to some website.

Crickets from the local PD, state PD, and feds. They haven't had a press conference in a while either, where they typically would, and they'd be releasing information then

Dude was a gun nut and none of his family knew?

Gun nuts are like crossfitters. They love for you to know they're a gun nut.

A few days after the storm he texted his bro asking if mom was ok.... I'm guessing he wasn't particularly chatty with the family. Just a guess though.

My question is that the initial volley lasted 10 seconds. All we’ve seen in the pictures so far are 60 round mags. A 60 round mag dump takes 5 or 6 seconds auto or bump stock.

He had something up there we haven’t been shown yet, even if it’s just a 100 round drum.

Just read that article. So he had an arsenal in his home as well, to go along with bomb making materials such as ammonium nitrate. And the girlfriend had no idea??

I think they are downplaying her role in this until she gets back on US soil. But, my wife has no idea how many guns I have locked in our spare bedroom closet and many would consider it an "arsenal" with "semi-automatic" weapons, with "extended magazines" and "high-powered sniper rifles" and thousands of rounds of ammo. And I'm not close to, and never have been a millionaire.

I 100% agree with this. He was just spraying into that crowd with a large spread and no real aim. And his rate of fire alerted everyone that something was wrong quicker as well.

If he had taken his time, and fired single shots, re aiming and steadying after each shot he could've killed hundreds rather easily in a matter of minutes rather than 58 over 10 minutes.

Exactly. The complete lack of information is mystifying.

article said they haven't released what they found in his other home, I believe in Reno. I expect we will get more info in the coming days. Likely after they interrogate the girlfriend.

Did they really get rid of the burst selector? I know they introduced the M27 to partially replace the SAW, but didn't know they took the burst off the individual rifle.
