I've never seen an episode of Friends, were there any "racial" episodes or innuendo on there?

Objectively, no TV shows were. They were majority black or majority white.

The producer should really be donating to a Latin American, Native American, or Asian American studies program. Otherwise she’s only feeding into this oversimplified view of diversity that only focuses on the white to black ratio. Never mind that race is but one small component of what diversity should truly mean.

Can't remember. But, they were absolutely the worst friends imaginable

if you observed actual friend groups around the nation, i'd bet 90% of them are racially homogeneous. Among singles, I'd bet they are similarly gender homogeneous too.

People are tribal and always have been.

Now do the show Martin.

REALITY F*CKING CHECK --

Black people are friends with and hang out with BLACK PEOPLE.

White people are friends with and hang out with WHITE PEOPLE.

Mexicans are friends with and hang out with MEXICANS.

Indians are friends with and hang out with INDIANS.

People also tend to hang out with people who come from and are of the same socioeconomic backgrounds.

The only place for a TV show or movie that shows anything other than the above should only be placed in the city of FANTASY-F*CKING-LAND.

THIS IS JUST BASIC HUMAN F*CKING NATURE.

And, genetically, a leftwing nutjob is completely f*cking devoid of the gene to understand plain common f*cking sense and basic human f*cking nature.

Indeed.

She needs to STFU. Friends is killing it in syndication and unless someone can explain how compensation works off of syndication, they should all be getting rich again.

This is not a road she wants to go down. The woke will eat her alive. The entire first season Ross, Carol, and Susan line was one long gay joke.

The worst kind of woke is when they looks at things with todays lens.

Next will be “we never had a trans character”. Nobody did. Silence of the Lambs and World According to Garp did.

Then the show would be even more fake than it already was. Wasn't the point of the show to show and sort of mock the struggles of a group of friends that are in the young adult stage of life? Any random group of close friends will be made up of the same race with maybe 1 person from a different race. It will never be 50/50 or even more diverse with some make up like 1 black, 1 white, 1 hispanic, 1 asian, etc.

This diverse wokeness is stupid. There's plenty of shows with mostly black, plenty with mostly white, some with a mix, which is representative of reality.

We had that before Friends, and everyone seemed ok with it. Living Single.

One's lovingly diverse, the other is systemic racism.

So a rich Jew donates money to a school named after another Jew for an African-American professorship.

Not if you’re looking for a nice tax write off. Generosity is always helped when it’s tax deductible.

I watched both this and Martin. Never even considered the race aspect of it, I just enjoyed the comedy. Same with In Living Color.

When reached for comment if he’d also donate $4 million to an African and African American studies department for the lack of diversity on his show, Jerry Seinfeld looked at the camera, said “No”, and then walked away.
