Like frick it doesn't. Civilians' rights end where veterans' feelings start getting hurt.
I'd like to think that most veterans aren't so easily triggered, and can tolerate another citizen exercising his or her rights of freedom of speech.
I'm not saying they should like it or that they shouldn't say so, but forcefully stopping the citizen from exercising his or her right to speech is 100% full stop wrong.

Worshiping a flag is pretty lame overall. It's just a government cloth that's been used to promote or further a thousand different things, some good and some bad. Defend or debate ideas. Oh and blindly crossing your heart and pledging allegiance to it is something out of North Korea.
