No, you don't have that right. The fact that you acknowledge your actions would be illegal proves that you know you don't have that right.

Good for you for accepting the consequences, but according to the law of the land, you don't have the right to use violence against protesters.

What's really sad is that you would be disrespecting the US Constitution and the rights enumerated to all US citizens by using force against protesters. You'd literally be a hypocrite.

This begs the question, why do these things need killing? The answer is that they threaten the US Constitution and the rights of US citizens. So you're pretty fricking wrong and also quite dumb. EAD

I never said the flag guys in this video were "honorable" or "respectful". Also, that's entirely irrelevant.

It's a good question. Ask yourself why some people care so damned much about their precious confederate battle flags.

Yes it's their right to disrespect the flag.
I have two pieces of advise for these folks.
#1 Don't do it near me.
#2 If you really want to disrespect the flag I suggest you burn it.......after you have doused it gasoline and wrapped it around your sorry arse.

Advocating the violent deaths of peaceful protesters is a far greater disgrace to the US Constitution than flying the flag upside down in protest.

Or what? You'll assault them and go to jail while they face zero charges?

Good idea. That'll show em.

Wrong. They exist to kill the enemy and break their stuff.

You just can't read. I said I'm willing to pay for my actions no matter if it is right or wrong. Those clowns were not. That is what is wrong with this country now. People do, but not willing to pay for their actions.

You claimed you had a right to do something and then conceded that it's illegal to do that thing, hence conceding that you don't have the right to do it. Am I misunderstanding you?

No, he can read just fine. You evidently just don't understand what a right is. By your formulation, you have the "right" to murder someone.

Yep. Not a difficult concept.

My brother, who is also serving overseas, has never had any problem with this behavior - we love that we can do those things (fly upside down/burn) to a flag if we want. If we can't then we're just like the countries we are fighting against.

I didn't read the whole thread but I'm sure there are plenty of e-toughguys saying how they'd beat up on someone they saw doing this.

Why do people care about a fricking flag so much? It's cloth that can't protect you from the government or feed you. Its a symbol of oppression thanks to the last 100+ years of wars. Also save me the fighting for freedom bs. Military personnel are nothing more than mercenaries for big business at this point. If the military cared about freedom they'd storm every state/federal capital building and demand change. Yet all these "heroes actually do is complain about not getting enough admiration, someone exercising their rights that apparently other countries can protect without war and when someone plays dress up in their uniform.

You are correct, including at least one person who claims to be a veteran of the Marines. Pretty sad that he doesn't understand or appreciate what he served for.
