I hadn't thought of that, but absolutely. And that's dangerous on a couple of levels. It gets the ones with those natural proclivities towards that lifestyle involved probably earlier than normal. So you're speeding up the development of the criminality of certain individuals while providing a constant stream of marks for them to take advantage of.

If I had to buy my beer from a drug dealer selling cocaine, I am much more likely to also buy cocaine.

Not to mention quality and purity. The state of Colorado has destroyed countless pounds of weed, because they tested positive for mold. It's very easy for your weed to go moldy during cultivation, and during different steps in the process. So there's purer, higher quality weed available to adults, and no more meeting in gas station parking lots.
It's also marketed to different socioeconomic classes of the city. Some places have nice waiting areas and ipads everywhere, others are bare bones, with only jars of weed everywhere you look.

This brings up a different question from me:
Would you be for legalization/decriminalization of cocaine?
Or, what in your opinion, should or could be legalized before we hit a dangerous tipping point?

I'm against physical addictive substances being legal, with the exception of alcohol. So basically, booze, weed, psychedelics, and mdma. That would be ideal, imo.

I mean, theoretically, yes. I am for freedom and personal liberty, but cocaine is pretty damn addictive and harmful (although fun!
). Weed is a much easier and more logical sell. I don't think I'd want it at cocaine dispensaries like marijuana, it'd have to be very restricted, which would lead to people still going to the black market.

Throwing people in jail for possessing a small bag of cocaine is counter productive.
